Description

Sylodyn vibration dampers for heat pumps

Sylodyn are used with good results as vibration absorbers to heat pumps to reduce structure-borne sound in the house's design due to the vibrations of the compressor and circulating pumps can cause. (Refers to exhaust air, geotermal and ground source heat pumps - not air/air heat pumps)

The product consists of four pieces of plates with a 25 mm thick sylodyn glued over a 5 mm PP disc that should be facing up when you mount it.

  • Overall height is 30 mm
  • Length = 65 mm
  • Width = 65 mm

Dynamic performance of the exceptional demands

SYLODYN ® is used for vibration damping where the demands are very high.

The material is a further development from SYLOMER, as demonstrated both in laboratory and field measurements that have been fully functional for a long time, despite the extreme load and environmental conditions in many cases.

The material is well documented and our new data sheet also shows how well the material works at high frequencies and low amplitudes. SYLODYN ®-material, dynamic stiffness is nearly independent of frequency and amplitude, which is unique among similar materials.
