Description

Renovation kit for insulating cooling pipes on air source heat pumps.

It is not uncommon to see that birds or the sun have eaten away at the insulation on the pipes between the plastic duct on the wall and the heat pump itself. Defects in the insulation naturally result in heat loss. It also looks untidy.

The kit includes insulation for both pipes, a tube of contact adhesive, and a protective sleeve, available in white or black.

In this kit, the protective sleeve is black and 670 mm long. The sleeve is narrower at one end (the end facing the wall) and wider at the other (the end facing the heat pump).

It is stretchy and flexible and is installed using the longitudinal Velcro strip that is sewn along its entire length.

Dimensions for the insulation for the narrower pipe:

  • Inner diameter: 8 mm
  • Thickness: 10 mm
  • Length: 670 mm
  • Outer diameter: 30 mm

Dimensions for insulation for the thicker pipe:

  • Inner diameter: 12 mm
  • Thickness: 11 mm
  • Length: 670 mm
  • Outer diameter: 36 mm
