Perfera XTH40 has the highest energy class A+++ and is developed for our cold Nordic climate. A guaranteed heating capacity of over 4.1 kW at -25°C reduces energy costs even when it is really cold outside. With its generous internal dimensions (W X H X D = 99 X 30 X 29.5 cm), this machine has the ability to move a lot of air, and a large efficient heat exchanger that transfers the heat to the room air at a relatively low temperature of the refrigerant - resulting in an unbeatable output and efficiency! Perfera XTH40 is in many respects a class leader and the machine we recommend for those who have high demands on output, COP, quality and good guarantees. 5-year warranty with the possibility of taking out additional insurance of up to 16 years ensures problem-free ownership for a long time.
- Open stove logic - When you burn in your wood stove, most air heat pumps turn off when the room reaches the desired temperature, Perfera XTH40 instead turns off only the compressor but allows the fan to continue to run in fan mode, this way the warm air spreads and you get a more even heat in the house.
- Cooling - Of course, both of these machines can also cool on hot summer days, the XTH40 has a full 5.2 kW cooling power.
Below I give a couple of examples of what you can expect the heat pump to be able to heat on its own at -25 ° C and -15 ° C outside, the conditions are as follows:
We aim for 20 degrees room temperature
The estimated power requirement/m2 is 45 W/m2 at -25°C and 35 W/m2 at -15°C. This corresponds to the power requirement of our Älvsby house built in 1974 (13 cm insulation in the walls, 200-250 mm in the ceiling and floor).

Based on the above, Perfera XTH40 with 4.1 kW output at -25°C heats a villa, a cottage or a garage with an area of about 89 m2 at -25°C outside temperature. At -15°C outdoor temperature, the heat pump provides 5.4 kW and heats about 145 m2 on its own.

With Daikin's WiFi control, you can adjust the room temperature, fan speed and operating mode from your smartphone - wherever and whenever you want. In addition, you can keep an eye on the heat pump's power consumption (for selected models). With the Daikin WiFi adapter and IFTTT, you create recipes to control your heat pump. Either you let the weather take control, or you choose how warm you want it when you come home from work. The controller senses your location information and adjusts the heating settings accordingly.
