Light sensor
Three-wire lightning to voltage converter, the sensor are adapted to the Logger 2020's A/DMIQ I/O-module, and can be used both as analog sensor to the analog inputs, and for indicatiing status of measured diods/lamps indication service status - on the digital inputs of the A/DMIQ -module.
These sensors convert the light to an output voltage directly proportional to light intensity
It consists of a photodiode and an amplifier
Low supply current (typical value 1.1 mA)
The sensors are fed with the Logger 2020:s 5 volts, and provides 4 Volts output at maximum light. The sensors can be used eg to the following:
Sun/light sensor. In testing, we've put a heat shrink tubing over the sensor, and adjusted the "deept" of the sensor in order to get a good indication of solar radiation, see picture on the example graph below.
Status sensors. Eg to show the operating indication of compressors, circulation pumps, motors, etc. where you have access to a lamp or direct current diod, which illuminates when operating.
To use a sensor indicating 230 V diodes, select our "230 V light sensor" instead, see also our 230 V indicator lamps, which can be connected to electric motor terminals, or other, and indicate operation via a 230V light sensor.
