Safety switch
Garo safety switches can handle 16A and have a 2-pole connection, this product is available in white with a black knob. The outer screws are made of stainless steel. The seal between box and lid is a weather- and oil-resistant gasket made of chloroprene rubber, which means that it is IP65 and suitable both indoors and outdoors.

The cable entries are threaded and have knockouts for 2 parallel cables both at the top and bottom. The knob is lockable with a padlock and the lid is locked in the closed position. There are neutral and PE connections in the enclosure.
According to ELSÄKERHETSVERKET's High Current regulations, all new installations of e.g. Air source heat pumps or other permanently installed machines should be equipped with a Safety Switch.
C62.2 Separation The plant part on which work is to be carried out must be separated. Components that are still live after separation, for example capacitors and cables, must be discharged with a suitable device.
